PEACE DAY/CELEBRACIÓN DEL DÍA DE LA PAZ

On 31st January our school celebrated Peace Day, and  for the occasion  our students of 1º ESO performed a play based on Rosa Park´s story. 
On December 1st, 1955, civil rights activist Rosa Parks refused to surrender her bus seat to a white passenger, spurring the Montgomery boycott and other efforts to end segregation.

Halloween

                               

The pupils of 1º de ESO have celebrated Halloween by preparing projects for the class. Each House (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Slytherin) had to do a presentation and there was a winner. For example, the boys in Hufflepuff baked spooky eyeball cakes at home by collecting the ingredients and following the instructions. The girls who are in Slytherin worked on making spider and graveyard cakes, again by following the instructions and baking them at home. Finally, the students of Gryffindor house made a dream catcher by following the steps and adding scary pictures.

Photos of the groups´ presentations were taken and the winner will be given a point for their house based on the quality of the presentation and the outcome.

House system

To encourage the students of 1º de ESO, we have divided the class into three groups of five based on the houses of Harry Potter: Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Students will gain points for their house and one house will win at the end of the year. Students will be given points based on their performance in school, sports achievements as well as by volunteering and helping others with tasks.

CURSOS del CEP

     CEP/BILINGÜISMO

     

            Estos son algunos de los cursos que el C.E.P. oferta y que están relacionados con el Programa                Bilingüe.

1. Curso A.I.C.L.E .Online . 40 horas.  Curso único con desglose para 11 especialidades. (2º/3er trimestre).

        Está pensado para los profesores de áreas no lingüísticas que deseen formarse en la enseñanza por         tareas.

     2.  Curso de profundización lingüística para la obtención del B2 (Inglés). Curso presencial del 4 de            Noviembre al 31 de Enero.

     3. Curso  formativo para la elaboración del proyecto linguístico de centro (P.L.C.)

     4. Creación de materiales con EXELEARNING. Online. 40 horas.

TRINITY COLLEGE

Se convoca a todos los alumnos interesados en matricularse en el curso del Trinity para la obtención del B1(Inglés) que el martes día 8 de Octubre tendrá lugar la prueba de nivel a las 16:00h. en el Instituto.

Edmodo

Este año escolar el departamento de Inglés del  I.E.S. Mayorazgo  va a poner en práctica el uso de la plataforma educativa Edmodo. 

Edmodo es una valiosa herramienta de aprendizaje que nos ayudará a mejorar los resultados de participación y aprendizaje del alumnado y que, además, agilizará la comunicación entre  padres y profesores.
